Food Distribution

At We Help, we pick up, sort, and distribute food four days a week. Food pick-up and sorting occur on Monday and Thursday, Distribution takes place on Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

In 2021, LARFB also awarded us a Ford Transit refrigerated van valued at $85,000. Because of our sustained growth year after year, we received a grant from the LARFB for a 16-foot refrigerated truck with a hydraulic tailgate valued at $130,000. In 2024, our food distribution was staffed by around 65 volunteers, dedicating approximately 300 hours each week to handle nearly 79,000 pounds of food monthly.

Beyond our main food distribution events on Saturdays and Wednesdays, our collaborative 4 partners distribute food monthly on 6 additional days. This results in a total of 14 food distribution days every month.
