Feeding Our Families

At the end of life, we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done. We will be judged by I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was naked, and you clothed me. I was homeless, and you took me in.

We Help operates, in the City of Long Beach, Christ the Good Shepherd Food Pantry. We feed 250 families every week with the monetary value of food distributed exceeding $1 Million a year. At the food Pantry we meet our community and determine their needs.

Our Mobile Food Pantry delivers food to families lacking means of transportation and/or the ability to carry the food they receive back to their homes. We identified Section 8 housing projects as a target for food distribution by the Mobile Food Pantry. These projects house under-served communities in desperate need of food. Some of the families in these projects were, at one time, homeless with limited financial resources.
